No cure but CBD eases pain and increases flexibility

CBD activates your immune system, which naturally makes it helpful for an autoimmune conditions like arthritis.

There are many documented anecdotal cases where CBD has had a dramatic effect on the lives of people suffering with arthritis; decreasing inflammation, easing pain levels, increasing flexibility of joints, better sleep and an increase in the over all well being of the person. One of our customers had severely reduced mobility due to arthritic pain in his knees and shoulders which limited his mobility and effected his quality of life. He has been taking the treatment for two months now and has increased mobility, less pain, decreased swelling, better sleep, more energy and most importantly a better quality of life.

A study published in the journal Rheumatology from Dr. Sheng-Ming Dai of China’s Second Military Medical University found that CB2 receptors are found in unusually high levels in the joint tissue of arthritis patients. The use of CBD is shown to fight inflammation in the joints by activating the pathways of CB2 receptors. However, human studies of CBD on patients with arthritis are limited but there have been many animal studies.

A 2011 study found that CBD helped to reduce inflammatory pain in rats by affecting the way pain receptors respond to stimuli.A 2014 review noted that in animal studies to date, CBD had shown promise as an effective treatment for OA.A 2016 study found that the topical application of CBD had the potential to relieve pain and inflammation associated with arthritis.A 2017 study found that CBD to be a safe and useful treatment for OA joint pain. Oil or Salve?

Most of our customers take CBD orally using one of our range of oil tinctures. This is an excellent way for CBD to get into your body, activating your immune system, which directly helps with inflammation and also helping to strengthen the tissues and joints to ease pain in joints. As already mentioned, among other things it also helps promote better sleep patterns and increases energy during the day.

Some of our customers are finding relief by are using our CBD Hemp Salve, which is rubbed directly into affected areas. Research shows that by using a topical cream, applied directly onto the skin, more consistent high levels of CBD were present in these areas, so easing symptoms directly.

It is very much a personal choice as to whether you use the oil or the salve, both have been achieving significant results. However by using the CBD oil daily and using the salve to top up the CBD in the affected areas maximises the CBD effects so is the best way to ease symptoms whilst benefiting from all the other positive effects of the CBD.
